Jazmine, Argentine Princess

Absolutely love this girl. She's a ballin' model, stylish and cute as hell, so much fun to be around and can wear anything and look stunning in it. Basically, she's a winner. Jazmine and I met in our ceramics studio last year and we finally got around to going on a little photo adventure together. We didn't plan for pouring rain, but rain it did -and it was fantastic. After a ridiculous detour (my sense of direction is horrendous) we ended up on an endless muddy road lined with trees in the middle of a swamp by an old YMCA camp. It was definitely interesting out there, if not a little sketchy, but it wouldn't be Gainesville without the sketchiness now, would it? There was a giant beehive house surrounded by swamp as well as a carcass off the side of the road that got us freaked out for a good minute while we considered calling in to report finding a body, but then we recognized a hoof. Needless to say, it was exciting. 

The rain soaked & chilled us and I had to wrap my camera in a plastic bag to shoot, but we got some great shots and had a lot of fun. We discovered some really beautiful open spaces within a swampy forest, as well as a rusty old boat that just happened to match Jazmine's eyes. There's nothing like getting soaked by the rain in the middle of nowhere. It was certainly an adventure. Thanks & love goes out to Jazmine for putting up with chilly rain to hang out and be my model for the day.
